Since 2015 when I identified myself as having a condition called aphantasia, I tried to find a way to harness the benefits of meditation in my atypical mind. Music and sounds have always been powerful influences in my life. When I discovered singing bowls through my local yoga studio I knew this is what I needed to do. In November of 2019 I took my first class on Vibrational Sound Therapy. This is a bowls-on body technique that produces results similar to a full body massage. You certainly do not need any special tools to meditate.
However, if you find it hard to meditate or want a different meditation experience Blissful Vibrations has a few different experiences for you. Beginning in January of 2021 I began yoga teacher training for certification in Intuitive Meditation. This type of meditation is really a game-changer for both people who feel like they can't meditate and people have been doing it for a long time.
As someone who suffers from complex PTSD it's so hard for me to unwind. The sound meditation practice and intuitive meditation have open doorways to my natural ability to meditate. For this I will always be thankful and hopeful to share it with others.
